I purchased this ebike based on my preference for Scott and the fact that this is made to not look like a typical ebike. I am very satisfied with my choice. Craftsmanship and design on this bike is nothing less than what I would expect from my experience with Scott bikes. The power delivery is very smooth and felt very natural, It has three levels of power and in my initial ride, I used all three but after 5 miles in I left it on the most assistance as it was windy. I rode 20 miles at an average of 20.1 mph. The assist ceases at 20mph, but when it cuts out, it is hardly noticeable. This bike is fast even without the assistance. If you are used to riding lightweight road bikes, you will notice the extra weight. The wheels are not as responsive as a race bike, but that I am sure is not the intent of Scott and the intended audience. There is a lot of folks that think ebike are "cheating", but I can assure you that I put in just as much effort on this bike as I do on my road bike and gravel bike. The only difference is that I can go faster! It made me feel ten years younger and put a grin on my face. I am very happy with my purchase and the care and communication from Winter Park Cycles throughout this transaction.
