Developed specifically for ELARA as part of a complete gravel racing system, the AB07 combines the clean integration, aerodynamic shaping, internal hose routing, and multiple hand positions found in Black Inc’s road cockpit with geometry optimized for high-speed off-road riding.
While the AB02 uses a measured road-and-gravel flare to maintain a narrow, efficient position on the hoods, the AB07 takes that concept further with a -17° flared drop. This creates a wider, more relaxed hand position when the terrain calls for additional leverage, control, and stability.
The result is a cockpit designed to keep the rider low and aerodynamic on fast sections while providing a more secure position in the drops when braking, traction, and handling become the priority. Rather than adding comfort as an afterthought, the AB07 incorporates these handling characteristics directly into its design.
