Shipping, Returns, and Cancellations

 
RETURNS and CANCELLED ORDERS
It’s important to us that you are happy. We understand that every item you purchase may not work out for you. In light of this, we offer our customers a very easy Return Policy.
 
You may return an unused item, for any reason, within 21-days of purchasing the item. If the item has all original packaging intact, and can be resold to another customer as new, we will refund your purchase amount. We do reserve the right to deduct shipping and a 5% restocking from the refund amount.

Our site shows our active inventory, and will display an item as either "In-Stock" or "Available for Special Order." If you have any questions about the availability of an item, please contact us BEFORE you purchase. We get hit with processing fees on every transaction, so work with us, please. 
 
Exceptions: We do not accept returns on Special Orders, Custom Built Bikes, or Demo Bikes. Any cancellations of Special Orders/Custom Builds will result in the forfeiture of all deposits held by Winter Park Cycles for this order. Any apparel, helmets, and shoes purchased at a discount, or on sale, are final sale items and non-refundable. These items can be exchanged, or returned for store credit, but must be postmarked within 14 days of receipt. All items sent back must be unworn and in their original packaging.

 

SHIPPING
Orders usually ship one business day after being placed, if in-stock

We can ship outside the United States, but please be aware that additional charges may apply. Bikes and wheels are very expensive because of the size of the box, so there may be $600-900 in freight charges to Brazil, for example. Smaller items are usually not a problem. Contact us prior to placing your order to coordinate shipping.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (Outside the United States)
If shipping to your final destination is an additional cost beyond our standard rate, we will send you an additional invoice for that difference. Rest assured that we are only charging what we pay. We aren't in the business of selling shipping, just the items you want.

Laws and regulations of the destination country dictate what import taxes, fees, and customs duties are applicable to the purchases. All import taxes, fees, and customs duties are your responsibility, as the purchaser.

The customs process for each country is different. You need to contact your local customs office to find out what taxes or import fees may apply to your order.

 

DESTINATION FEE
For complete bikes we charge a "Destination Fee," to help cover incoming shipping charges to us and the preparation of the bike for sale. Destination charges are being passed along at every step these days and, unfortunately, we as retailers can not stay viable unless a portion of those costs are shared by the end consumer.

 

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:
Obtain an RA (Return Authorization) number from a member of our sales team. Contact a member of our sales team via email at [email protected]. Box up your item, including all original item packaging and a copy of your RA number. You are responsible for return shipping to us, and we highly recommend that you use a trackable carrier (FedEx or UPS).

Refunds/Credits:

Once we have received and inspected your returned item(s), we will refund your money to you via the means originally used to purchase the item, for example, credit card or PayPal. After we apply the refund to a credit card, it may take up to 48 hours to be seen electronically on the account. As for monthly paper statements, it can take up to one or two billing cycles before you see the refund printed in your statement. PayPal refunds tend to be immediate.

 

MORE ON RETURNS:

If you are concerned about your return being damaged or lost on its way back to us, please know, it is your responsibility to insure the "returned" package.

All clothing and shoe returns must be in a condition of never worn and with all tags still attached.

If you would, please include a reason for your return. Knowing why something didn’t work for you helps us in knowing which products work for our customers and products that do not.

 

EXCHANGES:

If you would like to exchange your purchased item for another item on our website, place another order online, and we´ll credit you for your return once it´s received.
